How to list your Weight Loss Surgery Practice on ObesityDirectory.com

Why advertise with Obesity Directory? Listing your practice with Obesity Directory can breathe new life into your practice by making it easier for potential patient to find you. Most patients perfer to find a Weight Loss Surgeon near where they live. Obesity Directory is designed to help them do just that.

BCCI, Inc. can offer bariatric surgeons a variety of marketing options; from keyword search traffic to banner advertisements to updating or building you a web site, we can help your business while making it easier for patients to find you. Our aggressive marketing allows us to attract patients from different areas and that have a diverse socio-economic background. Our campaigns have made some obesity treatment centers synonymous with obesity solutions and bariatric surgery.

Who can advertise with Obesity Directory? Currently we are limiting applications to those practices that have surgeons who are:

- Regular Members of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS)
- Specializing in bariatric surgery
- Dedicating at least 50% of their time to the treatment of morbid obesity

So take advantage of this opportunity and start helping patients get your help. Your listings location on the search results page is based on location/first come - first served. So if a potential patient searches for Surgeons in a county where you have chosen to advertise and you were the first to get listed in the directory for that specific location, your listing will be positioned first on the results page. If you were second to list for that same county, your listing would show up second and so on, and so on. To get listed, or to arrange for other marketing services such as keyword search traffic and banner advertisements, please submit a marketing inquiry form.

How does Obesity Directory manage the information exchange between the surgeon and the user?

The Internet provides an opportunity to increase efficiency and boost patient’s satisfaction. At the same time, maintaining the privacy of patient information has never been more important. New standards require medical practices to ensure that all health related information transmitted over the internet remains private. ObesityDirectory.com is in concert with these new standards to insure your patients privacy long before they become your patients.

How it works

This section describes how Obesity Directory is used to securely collect potential patient information, and how the surgeon will retrieve the users inquiries. The following items are discussed:

General overview of the process:

process diagram

After a visitor to Obesity Directory fills out an inquiry form, the information goes into out secure data warehouse. Simultaneously, an email is sent to one or more contacts at the surgeons office letting them know there are new form submittal(s) that need to be reviewed. The following is an example email with active links to a demo utilizing fake patient data. Click on the "Login Here" to go to the demo page.

Note: the user name is: John
and the password is: Doe

This email has been sent to you from www.ObesityDirectory.com to inform you that a user has submitted a new inquiry from the "Send my info to this doctor " form on the web site. To access this information you will need to log in to a SSL encrypted secure site. Please click on this link Login Here and log in.

A username and password is required to enter this secure site. The username and password are both case sensitive so pay particular attention to the case of each word.

Benefits of this System

  • ROI - Track how many inquiries were turned into patients and decide for your self whether this service is feasible.

  • Eliminate Spam - Hide your e-mail address from spammers. Because the server sends out the message notification emails, your email address is not contained in any code that is accessible via the internet.

  • Archive - Your form data stays on our server until your subscription ends.

  • Powerful 128-bit Encryption - 128-bit encryption means that the data cryptographically encoded during an SSL session is at the highest level currently available, and nearly impossible to break. Compared to a 40-bit encrypted SSL certificate, a 128-bit is more than 300 septillion (300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) times stronger.

  • Digital Certificates - Secure Form Submit uses a digital certificate issued by Network Solutions, a leading Secure Server Certification Authority. This gives you/the visitor the confidence that you are connected to the site you intended to go to and not a "phishing" site.

  • Data Security - Secure Form Submit is taking all reasonable measures to secure data on our servers in the data center. The data center is both physically and electronically secured. Our servers are isolated from the Internet by using a firewall which is a hardware and software system that blocks access by unauthorized parties.

  • Login ID and Password - Access to your account is controlled by a login ID and a password. Strict login ID and password rules virtually eliminate the unauthorized user from gaining access.

  • Audit Trail - An audit trail and log of accesses to our database containing your form information is maintained. The information includes who is logging in when and from what IP address

  • Auto-Logoff - Secure Form Submit protects you against accidentally leaving your potential patients personally identifiable information active on a computer browser screen. The server ends your “session” if you are logged in to Secure Form Submit but have not actively used the service for a set period of time. This prevents others from accessing account data when you leave a session and forget to log out.

  • Business Partners - We strongly encourage people we do business with to obey privacy and security laws and respect HIPAA regulations.

  • Visitors' Experience - Improve your visitor's experience by protecting their personal medical information from the start
